Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga, also known as the Yoga of Awareness. This practice was created for householder, to experience and gain the benefits of yoga and meditation in a shorter amount of time. This is a yoga practice that cleanses our bodies and our mind from years of accumulated stress and the dis-ease that follows. Kundalini Yoga strengthens our nervous system, clears and opens our energy channels and connects our mind-body and hearts so that we become aligned with our Self.
Kundalini Yoga uses asanas (movement), mantra (sound), pranayam (breath) and mudra (hand gestures), with emphasis on sound mantra (chanting) meditation as a way to clear, seed and “rewire” our mind creating new neural pathways to shift into the best version of our selves.
Every posture or asana becomes a moving meditation. Every breath a chance to connect to our center. In each movement, in every moment this practice offers us an opportunity to find the calm in the storm preparing us for our best worst day.
