"Take out the trash."

"
The trash is anything  that is keeping you from the only thing that matters, this moment.  Here. Now."
-Socrates of Peaceful Warrior
We all have, or had at one point, that one closet or room that contained random items......old clothes that carried memories, artifacts and heirlooms, kids toys, or your old favorite items.
It's a room of things we are not yet ready to let go of, and yet we know we need to. They no longer are serving us in a productive way.

You know the room I'm talking about right? lol

We have these "rooms" physically and also mentally in our minds. This is where all the unsorted, random thoughts and maybe trash that is floating in our subconscious....

This is the room we want to clear and clean out. This mantra meditation helps us do this.
“Gobinday, Mukunday, Udaray, Apaaray, Hariang, Kariang, Nirnamay, Akaamay”
Yogi Bhajan says this mantra can clear deep-seated blocks and can balance the hemispheres of the brain and bring patience and compassion to the listener.
“Gobinday, Mukunday, Udaray, Apaaray, Hariang, Kariang, Nirnamay, Akaamay”
Sustainer, Liberator, Enlightener, Infinite, Destroyer, Creator, Nameless, Desireless
Chanting this mantra for 11 minutes will give the subconscious a shower and you’ll end up feeling cleaner and lighter.

Do this regularly, as trash continues to build up, and it may take awhile to clean out the room.  You can do this for 1-3minutes a day building up to 11 minutes.
How to:
1. Sit comfortably in easy pose (indian style) with the spine straight, but not strained.  You may sit on a cushion if you wish.  Suspend the head top and relax the body.
2. Sit with your hands in your lap.
3. Close the eyes, if this is not comfortable fix your gaze on one spot.
4. Begin long deep breathing to center yourself.
5. Then hit play and begin to chant/sing along with the recording.  It's okay if you don't know all the words.  Do what you can, sing, hum or just listen and be in the presence of this mantra.  You can focus on the sounds if you like.
Gobinday Mukanday Udaray Apaaray Hariang Kariang Nirnaamay Akaamay  "Sustaining, Liberating, Enlightening, Infinite, Destroying, Creating, Nameless, Desireless"

"Erhaltend, befreiend, erleuchtend, unendlich, Zerstörende und schaffende Kraft, namenlos, ohne Verlangen"
"force qui soutient, qui libère, illumine, sans fin, destructrice et créatrice, sans nom, sans désire" shanti peace Frieden paix
Here is a link to a song that you can sing/chant along to, enjoy expanding your voices with this song.
